   Sunset Lagoon Hotel & Marina is located along the Nichupte lagoon, in the heart of the hotel zone, approximately ten miles from Cancun’s international airport and only one and a half miles from the Cancun Convention Center and downtown Cancun.
   Sunset Lagoon Hotel & Marina features 104 spacious and comfortable guestrooms including five Junior Suites decorated in a fantastic Mediterranean-style. Standard room amenities include private bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, color cable TV with remote control, direct dial telephone, iron and board, stocked mini-bar, safe deposit box plus balcony or terrace. In addition to standard amenities, our Junior Suites also feature coffeemaker and microwave plus a sofa bed.
   For your dining pleasure, the Sunset Lagoon Hotel & Marina features two restaurants offering international and Italian specialties. Domestic and international drinks are served at the resort’s lobby bar and pool bar. Hotel amenities also include a freshwater swimming pool with waterslide, a children’s pool and playground plus car rental and travel agency, fax and internet services, concierge and currency exchange.
   Our entertainment team offers daily sports and recreational activities for adults and children throughout the day. Activities include stretching, low impact aerobics, Spanish dance lessons plus volleyball, water polo, water basketball and volleyball. Non-motorized water sports equipment such as kayaks, windsurfing, pedal boats and sail boats are also available at our marina. Motorized water sports equipment rental plus snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing expeditions available with surcharge. In addition, registered guests may also enjoy complimentary transportation to our sister property, the Royal Sunset Cancun where guests can enjoy all of the facilities including restaurants, bars and our beach club.
   Spring Break Policy: The Sunset Lagoon Hotel & Marina DOES NOT ACCEPT student travelers (“spring breakers”). Should a reservation be made, the guests will be turned away upon check-in without refund. The hotel requires that at least one adult, a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age, in each room reserved. The hotel reserves the right to remove underage guests at the guest’s expense for any violation of hotel rules including disturbing other hotel guests, noise and/or unmoral behavior.
